Yup! All time ‘fave’ quote at the ‘mome’! (*winks*)

Since deciding I was going to start increasing my fitness levels again, I had to do four things:
1. Go hard or go home
2. Vary my types of training
3. Just show up
4. Get new gym gear

So here’s the scoop on fitness for you. It’s really important to choose an exercise you like where you’re using more than one muscles group at a time. If you’ve only got 30/45 minutes to spare, don’t go to the gym and body sculpt, where you’re doing bicep curls and tricep dips. This is great if you’re adding other forms of exercise to your regime.

However, if you’re time poor, a more effective workout is one that involves squats and not just isolating one muscle at a time. A squat is one of the best forms of exercise you can do, if you do it with correct form. It activates the largest muscle group; the gluts and it uses the core and legs. So shut up and squat! Seriously. You can do this with dumb bells, a kettle bell or even your toddler strapped to you! No excuses.

Then vary your exercise. I train BJJ which is a grappling and wrestling form of martial arts. It’s the best workout and you get to learn a skill at the same time. Vary these two things with a walk in the outdoors up some stairs and you’re good to go get a booty you never had before! If you don’t train insane, you’ll literally remain the same. You just need to show up. Do whatever you can do, but just do it.

No kidding, it really helps to have new gym gear. I got myself kitted up with hotness activewear from Pink Sun, Brazil Activewear. I’m in love with the colour but they do amazing cuts. Did I mention it feels incredible? Just like a really soft, thin wetsuit and lasts apparently forever. When you have something new that makes you feel good, chances are you’ll go train.

So with all the love we are feeling, the team have decided to give away a pair of leggings! All you have to do to win, is write to them what your fave post workout snack is from Eat Fat Be Thin. Mine is an Amazeball. Email and the winner will be announced at the end oft his week! While you are there, check out all the other hot stuff. I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as me. Join me on my fitness crusade!
